Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled WordPress Administrator / Developer to manage, maintain, and enhance our WordPress-based websites. The role involves plugin management, implementing security best practices, custom development, and optimizing site performance and user experience. You will ensure websites are secure, up-to-date, and responsive, while collaborating with design and content teams to implement new features.

Key Responsibilities:

• Update and test WordPress plugins and themes regularly
• Evaluate and implement new plugins for functionality and security
• Troubleshoot and resolve plugin conflicts or technical issues
• Implement WordPress security best practices and perform regular backups
• Monitor site performance, uptime, and vulnerabilities
• Manage user roles and permissions securely
• Customize themes and plugins, and develop custom functionality as needed
• Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness
• Provide technical support and training to internal teams
• Document processes, configurations, and updates

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a WordPress Administrator or Developer
• Strong knowledge of WordPress core, themes, and plugins
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL
• Experience with security tools like Wordfence, Sucuri, or similar
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Understanding of SEO principles and performance optimization
• Experience with staging environments and deployment workflows
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with WooCommerce or other e-commerce plugins
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
• Knowledge of REST APIs and headless WordPress setups
• Experience with hosting platforms like WP Engine, Kinsta, or SiteGround
• WordPress or web development certifications
